Not all Jeep Gladiator trucks offer the maximum towing capacity of 7,650 pounds. Some of the models offer just 4,000 pounds! Yes, that is a big difference.

For that reason, we pulled the towing specifications from FCA’s website to make sure we got it right. Here’s what we found:

Closing Thoughts

I am becoming a fan of the new 2020 Jeep Gladiator truck. A truck in the Jeep lineup has been a long time coming since the brand lost the Commanche model many years ago.

Many truck buyers are hoping Jeep will bring a two-door version of the Gladiator truck to market in the future.

Jeep teased (in a good way) by building a 2 door version for last years Easter Jeep Safari. Maybe this is a sign that one day Jeep will decide to offer a two-door version.

However, 2-doors or 4-doors, this is one cool truck and one that stands out from all other trucks on the market.
